Felix began his volunteer journey at the young age of 7. He is the founder of the ICEA Math and Chess clubs, as well as GlobalAirlearning.org. In recognition of his tireless efforts, Felix has received the Gold President’s Volunteer Service Award for six consecutive years since 2019.
Felix currently is a student of Windward School Class of 2029. Through years of immersive volunteering, he has become an experienced math and chess instructor, having taught over 200 students. He also mentors and trains other children to excel in various areas, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills.
In 2025, Felix was invited to attend the McCallie Leadership Camp on a full merit-based scholarship. Academically, he earned perfect scores and was named to the AMC 8 Honor Roll of Distinction in both 2023 and 2025. He also qualified for the AIME (American Invitational Mathematics Examination) in 2024 and 2025.
A passionate learner and creator, Felix has authored three books on his favorite subjects. In his free time, he enjoys reading, writing, running, solving puzzles, playing chess, swimming, and playing the piano. He achieved the title of USChess National Master at the age of 13.
